Showcase!

The showcase is this week! It's crazy to think about, the year is almost over. I'm almost done with my senior year. Looking back on the year I've loved art this year. But I haven't loved the work I've made.... Some of it I kind of hate. Hopefully next year I will be excited to stand next to my work at the showcase and be able to be proud of what I've created. But until then, here comes the final stretch!

Okay so The end of the year is coming up. And I'm really stressing out. Mainly because of AP Bio Pre Calc and English. I wish this year was just over already. I don't even like my concentration that much, I'm excited for next year when I get to do a new one. I've been drawing in my sketchbooks constantly but I find it harder to work on my concentration pieces. Also I brought home my big painting, but now one day soon I need to bring in all my work for the show and to photograph it. Anyway, super stressed out but this has been an awesome year in AP Art so far!

It's almost April?

Time really has been flying by. It is ridiculous... I can't handle it. Spring break is MUCH needed, I have been far too stressed out lately. As far as this class goes, I know it seems like I haven't been on the blog in FOREVER. But in truth I have, I've been showing my friends everyone's amazing work they've posted :) I just haven;t been posting much, for those who don't know (I highly doubt there is anyone) I am incredibly forgetful. Not only do I forget to post, I also forget my password EVERY WEEK. It's really frustrating. Fingers crossed I've got it down now though... Also I'm planning to stay after on Thursday to photograph all my concentration pieces that have not yet been photographed. Mrs. McBride, if you read this I was wondering if that works for you? I doubt it seeing as how it is the last day before spring break. Hopefully something will work out though :)
I'm still unsure as to what to do for my new concentration pieces. I would love to do some more comparisons between deities of different cultures.

And more, but I'm being forgetful...

Concentration!

Okay so my sister stole my camera and left it at a friend's house, and keeps forgetting to get it home -_- so all I have is a crappy photo from my phone, but I'll post a better photo tomorrow if all goes as planned! Maybe I'll even work on them some more by then, cuz boy do they need work. (Not too proud of these)

Oh hey Finals.

Okay so I was defiantly just freaking out because I couldn't log into the blog. Finally figured it out though! so yay!
I can't believe the semester is almost over, it's crazy to think about. I got a new dremel, so I've been working on the Seth piece, which has actually been really fun!
I have to admit, I'm a bit worried about the breadth section, seeing as how I'm not all that good with photography. Or many other things that have to do with technology. For those who don't know, I have a hall of broken camera's in my room. It is the home of four cameras, and four cell phones. This is why I only get the phones that come free with the plans, and why I can't borrow Mrs. McBride's cameras.  Anyway, I've actually been taking some more photos, I found this cool looking moss

Winter break is over?

It seems like it went by way to fast. My break was pretty much Skiing, and Art. I have to admit I got a bit freaked out by the fact we have 100 photos and two concentration pieces due when we get back. Here are some of the photos I took:

Poster!

So my computer has been having issues, it crashed. So I am glad I got it working again and stuff. Also my camera no longer holds a memory card, so on high resolution I can only take ten pictures at a time.... that's going to work out just wonderfully. : /

I'm bringing chocolate chip cookies to the secret snowman thing, eat them at your own risk guys, I'm not the best cook. Hopefully they'll turn out alright. 

Anyways I gave my poster to a person from the company I sold the ad to! :D yay!
