Concentration!

Okay so my sister stole my camera and left it at a friend's house, and keeps forgetting to get it home -_- so all I have is a crappy photo from my phone, but I'll post a better photo tomorrow if all goes as planned! Maybe I'll even work on them some more by then, cuz boy do they need work. (Not too proud of these)

 

Just to make it clear how screwed up my cellphone pictures are, that background... it's actually red. And not purpley red. red red.

Oh hey Finals.

Okay so I was defiantly just freaking out because I couldn't log into the blog. Finally figured it out though! so yay!
I can't believe the semester is almost over, it's crazy to think about. I got a new dremel, so I've been working on the Seth piece, which has actually been really fun!
I have to admit, I'm a bit worried about the breadth section, seeing as how I'm not all that good with photography. Or many other things that have to do with technology. For those who don't know, I have a hall of broken camera's in my room. It is the home of four cameras, and four cell phones. This is why I only get the phones that come free with the plans, and why I can't borrow Mrs. McBride's cameras.  Anyway, I've actually been taking some more photos, I found this cool looking moss

Winter break is over?

It seems like it went by way to fast. My break was pretty much Skiing, and Art. I have to admit I got a bit freaked out by the fact we have 100 photos and two concentration pieces due when we get back. Here are some of the photos I took:

Mrs. McBride, I told my friend Katie about the Squirrel Portfolio at two in the morning, so me and her proceeded to take many many photos of her stuffed squirrels that night, and the next day at the mountain:

Poster!

So my computer has been having issues, it crashed. So I am glad I got it working again and stuff. Also my camera no longer holds a memory card, so on high resolution I can only take ten pictures at a time.... that's going to work out just wonderfully. : /

I'm bringing chocolate chip cookies to the secret snowman thing, eat them at your own risk guys, I'm not the best cook. Hopefully they'll turn out alright. 

Anyways I gave my poster to a person from the company I sold the ad to! :D yay!

Concentration

So I kinda am super bored of painting cells and I've only done two paintings... so I think I'm scrapping that concentration. I had another idea today that I thought would be fun. Deities from different cultures? I don't know I think it would be fun and I can experiment with mediums more, and paint people! Yay! So anyway I'm not sure if this is what I'll do, but at least I have an idea now.

Fluorescent Micrographs.... I kinda love them. Like a lot. Okay that was the only point to this post... bye!

Failure

So the WOA project was due on Tuesday, and I thought it was due on Thursday. I didn't check like I should have so I didn't have it done. Then I forgot to bring it home Tuesday... oh dear. I finally got it done Wednesday night. So in conclusion Colleen=failure of an art student :( sad day.
Anyway, as far as my concentration goes I'm a bit frustrated. For now I am working on paintings that reflect the colors and patterns of high magnification micro-graphs. I'm not sure how I feel about this concentration really :/ I love micrographs I think they look soooo awesome, but I'm not sure if I could handle a whole year of this... so we'll see how that works out...
On another note, my sketchbook is missing, and it's been making me pretty upset. I want it back! hahaha. I think one of my friends might have it :/
